What is a boiler?

Boilers have been a useful source of energy for centuries. In a simple operation, it combines water and heat to produce pressurized steam, which is easily used for indoor heating, power engines, and other applications. There are many types of boilers and each one is used for a specific purpose. These powerful machines, while safe, have dangers such as fire and explosion.

Some central heating systems use boilers to heat water or air, which are then used to heat a house or building.
Only a few key components are required to start a boiler. The tank is the most important because it holds the water or iron impermeable steel container and holds it in steam.

There is a heating element that is usually used to generate gas, oil and steam under pressure under the tank. The steam valve has a small opening at the top of the tank, usually a single pipe. Most high pressure boilers have a chimney that helps remove excess heat from the system.

All boilers manufactured by Steam Niroo Company are produced according to international standards BS2790 and national standard 4231, which are designed and manufactured under the supervision of Iran Quality and Standard Inspection Company and are presented with quality control plates and standard marks.
The construction system is wet back and with a working pressure of 6, 8, 10 bar. The capacity of boilers is from 100Kg / h to 10000Kg / h and the design temperature is 250 ° C.

Installation of boilers in manholes and multiple wells provides access to the surface of the tubes and furnace, which facilitates service-descaling and repair for the consumer. Design and construction of all boilers based on the plans approved by companies An inspection is performed, which is provided to the company by design experts with the latest reviews.

The front and rear valves make inspection, service and repair of the boiler easy and reduce the long duration of the relevant operation. Due to the proximity of the pipe sections to the furnace, inspection, service and repair of the furnace and tubes are easily possible. , Furnaces and boiler networks are of type 17mn4 – DIN 17155 and A516GR70 and heat pipes are of type St35.8 – DIN17175.

The design of the boiler is equal to 1/1 of the maximum working pressure and is hydrostatic test with a pressure of 1.5 times the design pressure. All welding lines are tested in accordance with national and international standards by representatives of the Standards and Industrial Research Department of Iran. , Is a penetrating and hydrostatic material. All welders have been tested for welding according to EN 287-7 standard and has a certificate of welding competence from the most reputable inspection and testing centers, under the full supervision of the factory quality control unit.

The consumable electrodes for penetration and complementary welds are of E6010 and E7018 type, which are used in accordance with the respective PQR and WPS. All consumable flanges are of PN16 standard type. Design and manufacture of hinged and opening boiler doors, which This makes it easier to repair the boiler.

The doors are insulated with refractory concrete (used cement of French fondue and special fireclay). Proper insulation by rock wool and aluminum or steel cover (according to the buyer’s request) prevents heat loss and protects the boiler against moisture and all external factors. , Adds to the beauty of the installation site.

Electrical panel parts and controls are selected from the best type and have high efficiency and the need for reliability, and the presence of pressure control switches and safety valves, as well as fountain glass for eye control and siren maximizes the safety risk of the device.

How the boiler works

A boiler is basically a chamber in a package in which water is heated until the water is converted to steam at the desired pressure. Its fuel, which is basically coal, is burned in a furnace and then hot gases are produced.

These hot gases are in contact with the water chamber and the heat of these gases is transferred to the water and as a result steam is produced in the boiler. These vapors are then transferred to the turbines of thermal power plants. Different types of boilers are used for different purposes such as sterilizing equipment, heating the environment, different industries and so on.
